Howard University College of Dentistry Global Outreach Missions: Georgetown, Guyana: March 9 - 15
From March 9–15, 2026, the Howard University College of Dentistry will travel to Georgetown, Guyana, with plans to extend care to Region 8 and the hinterland communities. The purpose of this mission trip is to provide essential dental care including cleanings, extractions, restorations, comprehensive exams, and oral hygiene instructions to communities in need. In partnership with the Office of the First Lady of Guyana and Ministry of Health, our students will work diligently to deliver care while fostering collaboration, education, and sustainability. This mission embodies Howard University’s motto, “Truth and Service,” as we remain committed to serving others and educating communities on the importance of oral health as a vital part of overall wellbeing. At its core, this campaign is about service because the true purpose of a mission trip is the willingness to help others.
