ATHLETICS: Travel support for determined student-athletes

🎖️ ATHLETICS: Travel support for determined student-athletes

$1,000 - Student Athlete Travel Fund, “The Cougar Club”

The Cougar Club makes it possible for us to give our teams what they need to compete and succeed, whether that's new sneakers that prevent injuries, travel to tournaments that put HCC on the map, or equipment that shows our athletes we believe in them. Our student-athletes represent HCC across the region, serving as our college's ambassadors while balancing academics, athletics, and usually jobs — all while training and competing at a high level. Support from past donors helped send our very own women’s volleyball team to nationals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and provided our full roster of the men’s and women’s basketball players with new sneakers.

Your support provides:

• Post-game meals for traveling teams
• Professional team apparel for away games
• Essential travel support
• Proper nutrition for competition

Serving dedicated athletes across 12 varsity teams:

Men's Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Track & Field

Women's Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Track & Field, Volleyball

"At a community college, our athletic budget doesn't have room for extras—but what some might call 'extras' are actually essentials for our student-athletes. These students are juggling classes, practices, and work while representing HCC with pride. When our community invests in the Cougar Club, you're telling them their hard work matters and that we’re behind them every step of the way." –Tommy Stewart, Director, The Bartley Athletic Center

Your Impact:

• Shows athletes their dedication matters
• Helps teams present a unified, professional image
• Supports proper nutrition for performance
• Builds team pride and morale
• Enables proper representation of HCC at every venue

To ensure that students have the resources they need to compete in the sports they love and to keep travel experiences or team championships equitable, your support will help them feel the HCC pride no matter where the game takes them.

With your support, we can help our teams travel with pride and focus on what matters most: playing their best game.
