The HWS 2021 Athletics Day of Donors (#HWSADOD) is a 24-hour giving challenge to support both Hobart and William Smith Athletics. Your giving provides resources to every student-athlete who is a member of our intercollegiate athletic teams. While COVID-19 may have called a timeout for competitions, our Herons and Statesmen are busy training and practicing so they can be ready when games resume. Your gift today helps ensure our student-athletes have a robust team experience. In addition, giving opportunities are available to support our strength and conditioning and sports medicine programs. When you give to Hobart athletics you become a member of the Statesmen Athletic Association. When you give to William Smith Athletics you become a member of the Heron Society.
James F. ’56, L.H.D. ’12 and Cynthia L. Caird L.H.D. ’12 generously funded the Caird Challenge (#CAIRDCHALLENGE), putting $25,000 in bonus cash for Hobart and William Smith athletic teams up for grabs!
Caird Challenge bonus cash will be awarded by college to:
- The top three teams with the highest percentage of dollar goal
- Two teams with the best video (judged by Jim and Cindy Caird)
In addition, the Caird Challenge bonus cash will be awarded to:
- Each team that meets their donor goal
You will be counted once toward the dollar goal for each team you select.
