✔About

The challenge is on for William Smith Field Hockey, and we need YOU to help us reach our fundraising goals.

Athletics Day of Donors is our 24-hour challenge to rally support for our team and help our student-athletes compete at the highest level.

Your generosity during ADOD helps us fund:

  • Travel that gives our Herons the chance to take on top competition and gain valuable experience

  • Equipment and team gear upgrades to enhance performance

  • Continued investment in a growing program built on discipline, endurance and teamwork

Every gift directly fuels the work that happens on and off the field: daily practices, strength and conditioning, tactical preparation and the teamwork required to compete every day. Your support during this 24-hour challenge ensures our athletes are prepared to meet every moment with confidence.

Step up. Make your impact. Help William Smith Field Hockey rise to the challenge on Athletics Day of Donors.

If you have any difficulty making your gift, please contact Wendy Barnhart at (315) 781-3725 or barnhart@hws.edu between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST.

*Offline gifts will be counted after the close of the giving day to ensure accuracy. Note that the leaderboard may vary slightly from actual numbers because of this.

📱 Student-Athlete Texting is Underway

Our student-athletes are hard at work in the Gilman Room, connecting directly with alumni, families and supporters of their programs. Throughout the day, representatives from each varsity team are sending personal messages and sharing their stories to rally support for what means most to them: their team.

This kind of outreach brings the spirit of HWS Athletics full circle, as student-athletes invite their communities to be part of today’s momentum. If you hear from a student-athlete today, know that your response makes a real and lasting impact.
