About

Hiram Softball is committed to excellence on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. Our student-athletes embrace a competitive environment while balancing the rigors of academics, embodying the values of dedication, resilience, and teamwork that define the Terrier experience.

Our program continues to build momentum, highlighted by six consecutive seasons qualifying for the conference tournament, a testament to the growth, consistency, and competitiveness of our team.

Our team calls Myrtis E. Herndon Field home, our softball field that supports our daily training and competitive success. We are continuously working to elevate our program and provide our student-athletes with the best possible experience—both in terms of development and opportunity.

Gifts to Hiram Softball directly impact the growth of our program and the experience of our student-athletes.

Our current wishlist focuses on key areas that will enhance both training and competition:

Field Enhancements:

Renovated bullpens

Upgraded batting cages

Player Equipment & Development:

Team cleats

Team bats

Team catching gear

Specialized balls for all hitting machines

Pitching mats for indoor/winter training

9-pocket pitching nets for bullpen development

Travel & Competitive Opportunities:

Spring Break Trip (Florida): Approximately $400 per player helps cover airfare and allows our team to compete against high-quality opponents early in the season.

Pre-Season Trip (Bridgewater College Round Robin): Approximately $200 per player supports travel expenses and provides valuable early-season competition.

Every donation, no matter the size, directly supports our student-athletes and helps us continue to build a competitive, first-class program. Your generosity plays a vital role in creating opportunities for our team to train, compete, and grow together as Terriers.
