Men's and Women's Fencing

Show your love for Haverford Men’s and Women’s Fencing during the GameDay Fords challenge from February 10-12, 2026! Every gift helps to provide Haverford's student-athletes with the resources to compete at the highest level.

New this year—each Haverford Athletics team will compete with each other for the honor of highest participation on the leaderboard, with special prizes for first place, second place, and most improved.

We’re so excited to carry the momentum this team created last season into 2026! This season, we are returning 4 MAS Division III All-American fencers (Chen, Myers, Pyo, & Strayer) and welcomed 6 freshmen team members into the program as we dove into training early this past fall. Our entire group of highly motivated student-athletes continue to push themselves and each other to become their very best both on and off the strip. So far in the ’25-’26 season, our fencers have shown their fighting spirit and willingness to step outside their comfort zones. In addition to showing off our passion on game days, we’ve cherished the opportunities we’ve had to bond as a team over post-competition meals and time spent together in training.

Looking ahead, we’ve set a competitive schedule for our Fords and we’re eager to face-off against the nation’s top programs, including UPenn, Penn State, Duke, Princeton, NYU, Hopkins and many more. We’re excited for the opportunities ahead in 2026 and to see our continued growth as a team this season!
