Behrens Hall has always been one of the busiest and most community‑driven spaces on campus—a place where first‑ and second‑year Cowboys meet new friends, gather for late‑night conversations, study together, and begin shaping their HSU story. With four floors, a variety of room styles, active common areas, and a dedicated residence life staff, Behrens has served as a welcoming launch point for generations of students.

As student needs evolve, Behrens Hall is ready for a new season of growth. Updating bedrooms, modernizing community bathrooms, refreshing common areas, and improving shared amenities will allow the hall to better support today’s students—creating spaces that foster community, comfort, and connection.
