Continuing the CHAMPIONSHIP tradition!

We strive to continue to build on the strong Gustavus Swimming and Diving championship tradition. Every year, we have the goal to win the conference championships and be one of the top liberal arts college swimming and diving programs in the nation.

Gustavus swimming and diving is a team, who compete as individuals. We love racing as one big team. Every weekend we compete, everyone swims and everyone dives. Give Like A Champion is our main fundraising effort to support 110 Gustie swim and dive student athletes (including close to 40 freshmen men & women) and provide them with a top-notch student athlete experience. A big part of this experience is team travel. Traveling with coaches and teammates helps forge lifelong bonds and create memories.

Your gift supports travel opportunities that are beyond our base budget, such as:

• Travel for mid-season regional meets at Steven Point and Luther. We bring the entire 110 person team to these overnight meets and provide great competition for all.

• Travel for the annual warm weather training trip to Puerto Rico. An important part of our student athlete experience and also helps future recruiting.

• Travel costs for the 2026 MIAC Championships at the University of Minnesota on February 11-14. Your gift will support hotel rooms for the championship for Gustie Swimmers and Divers.
