About

In 2032, the Gustavus Choir will mark a historic milestone: a century of choral excellence. To honor this 100-year legacy, we are establishing the Centennial Celebration Fund to support a year-long residency of musical events from Fall 2031 through Spring 2032. This fund will provide the essential resources to engage world-class guest conductors, guest artists and ensembles, collaborate with and host alumni singers and professional orchestral soloists for a landmark masterwork performance, and facilitate a commemorative appearance at a premier national concert venue.

*** We are very pleased to announce that the New Choir Robes Fund which had been featured in this position last year, and which had a multi-year goal of $100,000 – this fund has now been fulfilled through an exceptionally generous gift received from Doug Scheunemann ‘68. Thank you, Doug! We are delighted with this wonderful gift, which means new robes are in our future! This also allows us to turn our attention to fundraising for the Gustavus Choir’s Centennial Celebration.
