Gifts to Digital Collections of the Tuttleman Library contribute to...
A renaissance is underway at Gratz College's Tuttleman Library!
Thanks to pivotal seed funding from the Claims Conference and the Barbara and Fred Kort Foundation, and with the leadership of Library Director Donna Guerin, MLIS, Gratz is emerging as a field leader in archive digitization and open access to primary resource materials.
Gratz is constructing a state-of-the-art archive website to curate an ecosystem of digital humanities that features advanced search and filter/sort tools, high quality UI/UEX (user interface/user experience), and cybersecurity protections. The advanced site search capabilities of the digital archive will empower educators and researchers to connect the materials found in one collection with those in others.
The following digital collections are currently in development and need your support:
Holocaust Oral History Archive, established in 1979, is one of the earliest collections of primary Holocaust testimony in the United States.
Dr. Lena Allen Shore Collection includes 350 unique letters and thousands of pages of literary and academic work offering a unique window into Holocaust Studies from an interdisciplinary framework.
Rebecca Gratz Collection includes correspondence between Gratz and her family and friends beginning in 1799 until her death in 1869.
Designate your gift to support any one or all of the Digital Collections of the Gratz Tuttleman Library!
