2024 GVSU Study Abroad Sprint

Because of support from the GVSU community, we exceeded our goal of 100 donors, and raised dollars to support students abroad!

Your impact is real and far-reaching. Because Lakers worked together, students pursuing study abroad experiences will have increased support in their pursuit of becoming global citizens.

Completed Challenges and Matches 🎉

• Bill Cuppy '95 matched $2 for every $1 donated to the Morse-Cuppy Film, Video, Animation Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship, up to $1,000. By supporting this fund, you help film, video, and animation students expand their knowledge and creativity while traveling abroad.
• 50 alumni made a gift of any size to the study abroad campaign, unlocking a $5,000 gift to the Mark & Elizabeth Murray International Travel Endowment. This fund supports students who wish to study outside the United States but without financial support, would not be able to afford to do so.
• 10 additional donors made a gift to the Morse-Cuppy Film, Video, Animation Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship, and an anonymous donor made a gift of $8,000 to the fund.
• Thanks to a generous gift from an alumni donor, your gift to the First Generation Study Abroad Fund was tripled! $2 for every $1 donated to the fund was matched, up to $8,000.
