The College of Professional Studies prepares students for meaningful careers that strengthen communities and advance public service. The College is comprised of professional programs in Nursing, Social Work, Mass Communication, and Criminal Justice, offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees that combine rigorous academic preparation with real-world experience. Several programs hold specialized national accreditations, including the BSN program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the MSN program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the School of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), and the Mass Communication program accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC). Notably, Grambling State University’s nursing program has achieved a 100 percent NCLEX pass rate for four consecutive years, reflecting the strength of its curriculum and the dedication of its faculty and students.
