The creation of the Imani Fund was inspired by alumnae who came together each year at the Jewell Robinson Dinner. With a desire to support underserved students during their study abroad experiences, the Imani Fund was established in 2014 and endowed in 2016. Since that time, Maryland Scholars students have been traveling from Africa to Costa Rica, from Paris to Italy, and everywhere in between and beyond. These students have been able to enhance their study abroad experience thanks to the generosity of our donors
