It's back!
Our fourth Goucher Giving day, The Goucher Challenge, is back with a twist! This year, each decade is challenged to reach 100 donors by the end of the day to unlock a lead gift for the college!
Do you have a special decade with which you identify at Goucher? Whether it’s the decade you graduated, the decade you started working at Goucher, or the decade your own child took their Goucher journey, we are encouraging our entire community to join together and show you are #GoucherProud by participating.
All decade groups have been challenged by Goucher graduates from that decade to help reach their goals! A generous thank you to each decade's lead donors:
- 1950s: Stella Platnik Yousem '54
- 1960s: Susan Nabers Haskell '66 and an anonymous alumna from the class of '67
- 1970s: Melinda Burdette '72
- 1980s: Leslie Brewer '84 & Margaret “Peggy” Brewer Libbey '82
- 1990s: Jon Wexler '94
- 2000s: Gretchen Gilliland '03
- 2010s: Andrew Deal '14, Adam Mosey '14, Doug Falk '14, Sam Scholl '14, Dean Silverman '14 and Melinda Burdette '72
- 2020s: Melinda Burdette '72
Gifts of all sizes and designations count in today's donor totals BUT we have a special opportunity to receive even more funds for the college! An anonymous donor has offered to match every gift made to the Greater Goucher Fund (GGF) or Parent and Family Fund at $0.50 to each $1, for up to a total gift of $400,000 to the GGF. Allow your gift to have the biggest impact today by supporting the GGF or Parent & Family Fund!
