About

My project aims to improve the operational efficiency of a free thrift store providing clothing and household goods to the less fortunate in my local community. My project is a renovation of the donation-sorting room of the Matthew 25 thrift store at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Arlington, Virginia. The renovations include restructuring the space for increased work and storage areas and more efficient sorting, providing new shelving and bins, repainting, and cleaning. The improvements will facilitate more volunteers sorting donations, and helping those donations reach those in need more quickly and efficiently.
