About

In its inaugural year, Lightridge High School is projected to have a very large band program. For my Gold Award I've decided to help start up the program and will be building instrument carts to help ease year round travel!

With upwards of 900 miles of travel all around the east coast, Lightridge needs a way to keep their instruments safe during long journeys. The instrument carts will reduce the band's carbon footprint by saving the amount of buses used to get to each destination. The carts will also reduce the amount of money the band has to spend on repairs for the instruments by about 175 thousand dollars.

Please help support the Lightridge Band program to keep instruments safe all year round! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out and I look forward to your support of my project.
