Liliana's Project - Finding Joy

This campaign ended on November 27, 2020, but you can still make a gift to Girl Scouts Nation's Capital Gold Award Projects by clicking here!

My Gold Award project is titled Finding Joy and will be an original publication targeted to girls ages 12–17. I hope to create a tool to help them work through some of the issues they face—like bullying, depression, and body issues.

I plan to use my own artwork and create a hybrid between a graphic novel and a journal that will include prompts that invite readers to complete reflection exercises, take moments of thoughtfulness, and to add notes or journal about their feelings. The back of the book will include resources for help and further reading.

By donating to my project, you will help me print my book and get as many copies as possible out to girls.
