Kailynne's Project - Pervasive Invasives

My project aims to increase awareness of valuable native plant life and decrease the negative impacts of invasive species. I will accomplish this by creating a tiered garden of native plants with educational signs and distributing their seeds to visitors to Hidden Pond Nature Center. At the same time, my project will combat erosion by adding plants with strong root systems to a steep hillside. Donations to my project will go towards building supplies, plants, soil, and water for the volunteers.
