Key Fundraising Initiatives:
- Team Travel: In order to compete on the highest stage against the best competition, national travel is necessary. Although we have great support from our administration, trips outside the southeast (Hawaii in 2024) require some outside support. Our goal is to provide the best student-athlete experience to our team each time we travel.
- Facility Maintenance: With the hire of Class A superintendent Brandon Bowen, our facility condition has been “tournament ready” year round. Budget support would help Brandon and his small staff continue to keep our facility in the best shape possible for our student-athletes. It would help the purchase of updated course chemicals and new golf course equipment.
- Range Balls: Each year, between both programs, the range balls that are used at the driving range at the Bennett-Ramsey Practice Facility need to be replaced and the annual cost is $4,000.
- Clubhouse Maintenance: Our state of the art practice facility was built in 2006 using fundraised dollars and support and requires updates to various pieces of equipment and hardware. Air Conditioning Units, Roof Replacement, etc. are all due for service or replacement.
Quote from Head Coach, Carter Collins:
"Eagle Nation coming together to help Georgia Southern is one of the many things that makes this University and community so special.
Every gift, no matter the size, will make a direct impact on the experience of our student-athletes and also help them create a competitive edge! Hail Southern!"
