Built on a foundation of Love and Loyalty, tiger pride stretches across the Commonwealth, the nation, the world. Since 1829, over 20,000 students have called Georgetown College home. We have stood as a pillar of the community as one of Kentucky’s most distinguished private institutions of higher education.
As we approach our third century, we continue to build on that foundation of those who have come before us. We are launching a “Love and Loyalty” Campaign for Georgetown College. We know you love the College! Will you show your loyalty to the College? Be one of the 3,055 alums to help us reach 25% alumni giving.

Thanks to your efforts, we have reached 21% alumni giving. That’s over 2,500 alums! We only need some 500 more to reach our goal by June 30th. With your help, we can make it the rest of the way.

Thank you for supporting Georgetown College! Your gift helps the next generation of students create memories that last a lifetime.
Join the advocates to share your Love and Loyalty! Help make the campaign a success by doing any/all of the below:
Share the campaign
Spread the word and show your support
How: At the top of the campaign page are buttons to share via email, Facebook, and Twitter.
Become an advocate
With just a few clicks, create a GiveCampus account and gain the ability to track your impact. See how many clicks, gifts, and dollars your outreach generates!
How: Go to the very top right of the campaign page to sign up.
Create a matching gift or challenge
Encourage your network to join you in making a gift. You can match gifts dollar for dollar up to a fixed amount and even structure your challenge to be based on donor participation.
How: Look right below the video on the left side of the campaign page.
Upload a personal plea
Create a short video in which you explain why you’re supporting this campaign and why others should do the same and upload directly to GiveCampus. Selfies work great!
How: Go to the advocates tab just below the “donate now” button.
We are ten days away from March 13th. Soon after, a preliminary report will be sent to the College's accrediting body. We want to include in the report that Georgetown College alumni have done what is extraordinary in fundraising circles–going from 11 to 25% alumni giving in 8 months!
Thank you for showing your 'Love and Loyalty' for Georgetown College!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Though this letter is limited by words, our gratitude has no such bounds. Not only are you helping an important effort succeed, but you are encouraging and inspiring an entire college. It is absolutely exhilarating to see the energies being expended by alumni and friends of Georgetown College. It is almost as if a massive wave of reinforcements has arrived and joined the charge!
While we still have a distance to go, I hope everyone of you is feeling the joy which comes through loving service on behalf of your College. There is such a worthy mission here, and I am proud to stand with you as we face and overcome our challenges. By the grace and strength of our good Lord, and with the abiding support of you to whom I write, we will succeed!
God bless you all, as On We Go!
