Changing Futures Campaign
Transforming Student Lives & Increasing Diversity in Health Care Workforce
The Changing Futures Campaign is the inaugural opportunity to support the Community Medi-Corps Program of the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. We invite GW alumni and teachers, students, and community members to support our regional high school students and increase diversity in our future life and health sciences workforce.
Medi-Corps will transform how students study life and health sciences for in-demand careers. The program’s high-tech Immersive Learning Center (ILC) is a mobile STEM-H lab with both virtual and augmented reality to immerse students in real-life environments for hands-on collaborative learning.
The ILC will serve students studying life and health sciences at:
- The Governor’s Health Sciences Academy at Alexandria City High School (Alexandria City Public Schools)
- Governor's Career and Technical Academy in Arlington (Arlington Public Schools)
- Falls Church Governor’s Health Science Academy (Fairfax County Public Schools)
- Clifford S. Hardison Governor’s Health Sciences Academy (Fairfax County Public Schools)
- West Potomac Academy (Fairfax County Public Schools)
- Governor’s STEM Academy at Chantilly High School (Fairfax County Public Schools)
