About

Philanthropic support of the SMHS Class of 1981 Endowed Scholarship Fund in honor of your 40th reunion will mean so much to a future GW physician and the future of medicine as a whole.

It's an incredibly challenging yet powerful time to be a clinician. The pandemic has taken an immense toll on our nation's physicians, of which its full impact won't be realized for years to come. Nevertheless, as care teams across the nation struggle to meet the health care demands of our country, our medical students are eager to join the relief efforts.

But many of our students are dependent on the generosity of our alumni and community to get there!

Established in 2006, the SMHS Class of 1981 Scholarship Fund is an endowed scholarship that will live on at GW in perpetuity.

Fund Update:

Principal: $105,581

FY21 Payout: $5,726

The gift of education has never been more urgent, and we hope you’ll join your class in creating opportunities for SMHS students to pursue their dreams and make an impact in our communities.

Regardless of the size of your gift, every gift makes a difference, and your participation in this effort is essential.
