This week we celebrate both National Public Health Week and GW's second annual Giving Day! The last two years have challenged our healthcare systems and healthcare leaders in a way we could never have imagined. At the Milken Institute School of Public Health (GWSPH), we're addressing the challenges and pushing barriers through education, advocacy, and research.

As we forge ahead, we recognize several significant milestones in our school's history: the 60th anniversary of our MHA program, the 50th anniversary of our Biostatistics Center, and the 25th anniversary of the founding of this school—that remains the ONLY school of public health in the nation's capital!

Despite the challenges of today, our students are ready to contribute and follow the path our public health alumni and leaders have paved. But only through your support will some students be afforded this opportunity.

SPH Student Aid

Gifts to this fund support public health students through merit- and need-based aid. Support for student scholarships helps ensure that talented students, regardless of financial resources, can take full advantage of a GW education.

Milken Institute School of Public Health Annual Fund

Gifts to this fund support students’ professional development, department programs, and research.

• $50 provides transportation for a student to their internship site.
• $100 provides a week’s worth of personal protective equipment for public health labs.
• $5,000 funds a graduate assistant’s research for one semester.

MHA Student Aid

Gifts to this fund support Master of Health Administration students through merit- and need-based aid. Support for student scholarships helps ensure that exceptional students can take full advantage of a GW education without financial pressures.
