Sanctuary Lamp

Sponsor the Sanctuary Lamp Candle at Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel or The Catholic House abbreviated as CH.

Campus Ministry and the University Chaplain invite members and groups of the university community to sponsor one of our two Sanctuary Lamp Candles for a week through a $10 gift, which covers the weekly cost of the candle. The Sanctuary Lamp serves as a visible reminder of the presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament and offers a meaningful way to honor, remember, or pray for someone special. Candles may be sponsored in memory of or in honor of a family member, friend, loved one, classmate, or member of the Gannon Family, whether living or deceased.

Sponsors are welcome to reserve a candle for birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, special intentions, celebrations, or simply as a prayerful act of gratitude and support for the Gannon community. In addition to sponsoring the weekly candle, donors may choose to make an additional gift to support the day-to-day ministries of the chapel, including liturgies, retreats, student faith formation, and other Campus Ministry programs that enrich the spiritual life of our students.
