Senior Class Gift

Furman aims to grow students who excel in all areas, including philanthropy and service. The Senior Class Gift program allows each graduating class to begin their legacy as alumni by making a gift to support Furman. This campaign aims to unify each class under the common goal of becoming lifelong philanthropic supporters of Furman.

Give $75 or more

Senior donors who give $75 or more by 11:59 PM EST on December 31, 2022, will receive a personalized brick by the Bell Tower in time for commencement weekend in May. Seniors who give after the deadline and before April 25, 2023, will get a brick by the following Homecoming, typically October after commencement.

Donors at this level will also receive a commencement cord and an invitation to a Donor Appreciation Event in the spring. Donors at and above this level will also be included in drawings throughout the fall. The Donor Appreciation Event is sponsored annually by David Trone '77, founder and CEO of Total Wine and More.

Give $20.23 or more

Senior donors who give $20.23 or more prior to commencement will receive an invitation to a Donor Appreciation Event in the spring. Donors at and above this level will also be included in drawings throughout the fall. The Donor Appreciation Event is sponsored annually by David Trone '77, founder and CEO of Total Wine and More.

All senior class donors who make a gift of $1 or more will receive a purple Bell Tower pin to wear on their regalia at commencement.

NEW! Up to $100 toward Parking Citations

UPDATE: Elizabeth Yeager you have been selected for the $100 towards parking citations or additional donation! Congratulations! Please contact Emily Peck at to confirm and to discuss next steps.

Happy New Year!

Hey Seniors! Have outstanding parking citations? FUPO has teamed up with the Senior Class Gift to offer up to $100 toward parking citations for one lucky senior! No citations? That lucky senior will choose where the additional $100 will be donated on campus. Here's how it works:

1. Already donated? You are all set! Haven't made your gift yet? Keep reading.
2. Make your donation, of any amount on this page before Dec. 31 at 11:59 p.m.! Designate your gift to any fund you'd like.
3. That's it! The lucky senior will be announced on January 3, 2023, on this page.

Don't forget - if you make your Leadership-level gift ($75) before Dec. 31, your brick will be installed at the Bell Tower by commencement weekend!

A few notes:
- up to $100 can only be utilized towards the selected senior's current outstanding parking citations or towards the existing campus fund they choose to donate to.
- funds cannot be transferred to another senior or refund previously paid parking citations.
- for Class of 2023 seniors, only.
