Today's contribution for tomorrow's world.
Historically, most Vietnamese students haven’t been able to afford a college education abroad, limiting their opportunities. As the first independent liberal arts university in Vietnam’s history, Fulbright University Vietnam is opening doors for more promising-yet-disadvantaged Vietnamese students.
Because 58% of our students receive financial aid, students from all corners of Vietnam rely on supporters like you. As we launch our first-ever crowdfunding campaign, our mission is to open doors to more students across Vietnam by providing need-based financial aid to Fulbright University Vietnam students. Join us.
Every donation helps pave the way for ambitious students like Quynh Anh, whose stories are waiting to be written.
Hailing from the northern border province of Lao Cai, one of the poorest in Vietnam, Ninh Quynh Anh takes none of her opportunities for granted. Although the gifted student was accepted to several U.S. universities, she chose Fulbright Vietnam, where she receives financial aid, so that she could have an affordable world-class education.
“We’ve got a sense of passion because we’re the first generation of students at Fulbright.”
-Ninh Quynh Anh, Class of 2023
As a master’s student at the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, Truong understands firsthand how a Fulbright education can change the course of Vietnamese students’ lives:
“Fulbright has provided me with a lot of opportunities to do more and to become more,” he said.
Learn about Truong's story by watching his personal plea video, and consider helping us open doors to more Vietnamese students with a gift to #FulbrightForward.
Students have been adding their voices to the #FulbrightForward campaign by creating personal plea videos. We're so inspired by their stories, and think you will be, too! Watch the videos (under the “Advocates” tab) to learn more about how your gift to Fulbright Forward will impact students like Jack:
Jack Lam Nguyen, Class of 2023, has had big ambitions since high school. But the thought of traveling abroad for college was a “wild dream” for him. At Fulbright, Jack has the opportunity to receive a world-class education in his home country of Vietnam.
“I’m grateful for all of the opportunities I’ve had at Fulbright, and I would never be able to get here if not for the donations from friends and supporters of this project.”

Friends: when you make your gift to Fulbright Forward now, Tuan Pham will match it dollar for dollar (up to $10,000)! There's no better time to double your impact so we can support more Vietnamese students with financial aid.
Extending our deepest thanks to Tuan for making it possible!
