Gifts to FHU Challenge 2023 Clay & Ginger Harris Young Endowed Scholarship contribute to...
FHU Family-- Today we've been challenged to have 600 people make a gift on the FHU Challenge Day of Giving and in doing so, make a huge difference for FHU students!
As one of the projects participating in the FHU Challenge, we, Clay and Ginger’s family and friends are raising money for the Clay & Ginger Harris Young Endowed Scholarship.
Clay and Ginger Young spent a great portion of their life together pouring into the lives of others. This scholarship was a dream for both of them, as a way to continue loving and giving to those who desired to be educational leaders in their communities.
Ginger taught in and led special education programs in Nashville up until she and Clay moved to Henderson to be part of the Freed-Hardeman family. They considered it their mission not only to work in a way that glorified God, but to seek out and serve students in need who were also part of the community of FHU.
This scholarship is a way for Clay and Ginger, as well as their son Will and daughter Leah, to continue creating opportunities for students to cultivate and perfect their gifts in teaching to honor God and bless future generations.
To help meet the FHU Challenge and help assist students majoring in Special Education, we have a goal of raising at least $2,500 for their scholarship.
Will you make a gift today to support the Clay & Ginger Harris Young Endowed Scholarship and meet the FHU Challenge?
Thank you for taking on the challenge and showing generosity during the FHU Challenge Day of Giving. With over 800 gifts, you supported more than 50 areas across campus, making a positive impact on students.
Your contributions are truly appreciated.
