Gifts to FHU Challenge 2023 Mid-South Mykal's Sunshine Circle contribute to...
FHU Family-- Today we've been challenged to have 600 people make a gift on the FHU Challenge Day of Giving and in doing so, make a huge difference for FHU students!
As one of the campus groups participating in the FHU Challenge, faculty, staff, alumni, and others connected to MSYC are raising money to create a Sunshine Circle in memory of Mykal Moss Daniels.
Mykal's Sunshine Circle will be a 10-sided covered pavilion with 8 swings facing the center of the circle. It can be used as a teaching station for bible classes and a gathering place at other times.
It is our hope that the Sunshine Circle provides another place at MSYC where strangers meet, become friends, and together they learn to love God and one another into eternity.
This project is a fitting way to honor the memory of Mykal Moss Daniels as one word that has often been used to describe her is "sunshine". Mykal was such a ray of sunshine and she would always light up a room whenever she entered it.
To help meet the FHU Challenge and provide this new Sunshine Circle we have a goal of raising $15,000 to put towards this project.
Today will you make a gift to help provide this new Sunshine Circle and meet the FHU Challenge?
Thank you for taking on the challenge and showing generosity during the FHU Challenge Day of Giving. With over 800 gifts, you supported more than 50 areas across campus, making a positive impact on students.
Your contributions are truly appreciated.
