Gifts to FHU Challenge 2023 Theatre: Live in Scotland contribute to...

FHU Family-- Today we've been challenged to have 600 people make a gift on the FHU Challenge Day of Giving and in doing so, make a huge difference for FHU students!
As one of the campus groups participating in the FHU Challenge, faculty and students are raising money to allow students to again represent Freed-Hardeman University at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2026. The is the largest theatre festival in the world, and your contribution will help FHU students to be at the center of the action.
Although each student will pay a hefty fee to participate, our desire is to reduce their financial burden and allow more students to experience this life-changing event. This is money well spent, agrees senior theatre design major, Collett Heenan who traveled with us this August. " I left Scotland a better person and a better theatre artist than I was when I came."
To help meet the FHU Challenge and provide this valuable experience for students, we have a goal today of raising $5,000 to assist these young people.
Earlier this semester we were thankful that our students had the opportunity to perform in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the first time ever, and it provided such a worthwhile student experience that we've already started planning for a trip in 2026.
Will you make a gift today to support students and help meet the FHU Challenge?
Thank you for taking on the challenge and showing generosity during the FHU Challenge Day of Giving. With over 800 gifts, you supported more than 50 areas across campus, making a positive impact on students.
Your contributions are truly appreciated.
