Gifts to FHU Challenge 2023 Fine Arts Guest Artist Recital Series contribute to...
FHU Family-- Today we've been challenged to have 600 people make a gift on the FHU Challenge Day of Giving and in doing so, make a huge difference for FHU students!
As one of the campus groups participating in the FHU Challenge, students and faculty in the Department of Creative and Communication Arts are raising money for the FHU Guest Artist Recital Series in the 2024-2025 school year.
The recital series brings nationally and internationally recognized musical artists to Freed-Hardeman's campus. Recent and upcoming concerts include Steinway Piano Teachers Hall of Fame member Dr. Jerome Reed, Country Music recording artist Janelle Arthur, and Vanderbilt University’s Blair String Quartet violist Dr. Christina McGann.
FHU students will directly benefit from the series by gaining convenient access to high-level live music performances. As part of the recital series, guest artists will agree to either teach a master class to FHU music students or present a community engagement session in the Chester County Public Schools.
To help meet the FHU Challenge and fund the first year of the FHU Guest Artist Recital Series, we have a goal of raising $4,000 for this project.
Will you make a gift today to support this program and meet the FHU Challenge?
Thank you for taking on the challenge and showing generosity during the FHU Challenge Day of Giving. With over 800 gifts, you supported more than 50 areas across campus, making a positive impact on students.
Your contributions are truly appreciated.
