FHU Challenge 2023 Tanzania Mission Trip

FHU Family-- Today we've been challenged to have 600 people make a gift on the FHU Challenge Day of Giving and in doing so, make a huge difference for FHU students!

As one of the campus groups participating in the FHU Challenge, we are raising money to take a group of 10 people (primarily students) to Tanzania for 3 weeks in 2024.

Our focus while in Tanzania is on using our skills and backgrounds to make a positive impact and share our faith.

We'll engage in personal and group studies, visit orphanages, support struggling individuals and families, and hold Bible-based mental health seminars. Some students will lead workshops, while others will teach children. Evenings will include debriefing and devotionals.

We'll also enjoy thrilling safari experiences to witness amazing animals in their natural habitat, like a visit to God's zoo.

The trip's cost is mainly driven up by rising airfare prices. We've budgeted $3,500 per person, but airfare may push us over budget.

To help meet the FHU Challenge and help reduce the cost of airfare, we have a goal of raising $6,000.

Achieving this goal will reduce our airfare costs from $2,800 to $2,200 per person. Any extra funds will support our expenses while in the country.
