Gifts to FHU Challenge 2023 eSports Arena contribute to...
FHU Family-- Today we've been challenged to have 600 people make a gift on the FHU Challenge Day of Giving and in doing so, make a huge difference for FHU students!
As one of the campus groups participating in the FHU Challenge, students and staff are raising money to create the first-ever eSports arena at FHU!
An eSports arena is a specialized venue for competitive video gaming, where players come together to compete, creating a hub for gaming events and community interaction.
On a college campus an eSports arena has many advantages, including bringing gamers together and creating a sense of community and teamwork. This improves the overall student experience and helps retain students. It also helps students develop skills like teamwork, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
Our plan is to renovate an existing space in the Crews-Colbert Activity Center with new paint, and add gaming chairs, monitors, a projector, and speakers to create this arena.
To help meet the FHU Challenge and create this new space for students, we have a goal of raising $10,000 for this project.
