Russell Brownley ’03 Memorial Scholarship
Russell Brownley ’03 was a storyteller, filmmaker, and adventurer whose work captured the human spirit across cultures and communities around the world.
Through surf films, documentaries, and humanitarian projects, Russell brought untold stories to life. His work reflected resilience, connection, and a deep passion for understanding people and their experiences. Traveling to more than 70 countries, he used his creative vision to amplify voices and document meaningful moments across the globe.
The Russell Brownley ’03 Memorial Scholarship honors his legacy by supporting students pursuing Digital Media Production and Cinematic Arts at Flagler College. Preference is given to students with financial need and those planning to study abroad, reflecting Russell’s global perspective and love of exploration.
