Dr. Bernadette Twardy Sport Management Scholarship
The Dr. Bernadette Twardy Sport Management Scholarship honors a beloved professor and visionary leader who spent 30 years shaping the future of sport management at Flagler College.
Arriving in 1984, Dr. Twardy built Flagler’s Sport Management program into one of the College’s premier academic offerings. Her mentorship and leadership helped launch graduates into careers with major professional sports leagues, the PGA Tour, and the International Olympic Committee.
Her impact extends far beyond the classroom. Known for her dedication to students and commitment to excellence, she created a program rooted in professionalism, opportunity, and lasting connections.
This scholarship supports seniors completing their required Sport Management internships, helping bridge the gap between academic experience and professional careers.
