Jason N. Stewart Memorial Scholarship for Leadership
The Jason N. Stewart Memorial Scholarship for Leadership honors the life and legacy of Jason Stewart, whose joy, kindness, and resilience left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Established by Dr. Dan ’78 and Mary Ellen Stewart ’79, this scholarship reflects their lifelong dedication to Flagler College and their deep belief in the power of student leadership. Dr. Stewart served the College for over 40 years, working closely with student leaders across campus and helping shape programs that continue to enrich student life today.
Jason, despite facing personal challenges, inspired others with his positivity and genuine care for everyone he met. His spirit lives on through this scholarship, which supports students who lead with the same compassion and commitment.
This scholarship is awarded to student leaders actively serving as Resident Advisors, Student Government leaders, or members of the Campus Activities Board.
Our Roar & Raise Goal
Our goal is to raise $2,500 to support the Jason N. Stewart Memorial Scholarship for Leadership.
This scholarship helps:
• Support student leaders across campus
• Recognize service through SGA, Residence Life, and CAB
• Provide financial assistance to active student leaders
• Encourage leadership rooted in compassion and service
