State Terrorism Research
The State Terrorism Research initiative engages Flagler students in international archival research focused on state violence, mass atrocities, and their lasting global impact.
Through this work, students and faculty examine historical and contemporary cases to better understand complex social and political issues. This research explores underrepresented areas of study while contributing to broader conversations about conflict, justice, and human rights.
Our Roar & Raise Goal
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support international research and student involvement.
Funds will help support:
• Travel for archival research in countries such as Cambodia, Argentina, Germany, and Hungary
• Student research assistant opportunities
• Domestic and international conference travel and registration
• Presentation of research findings to academic audiences
This funding enables meaningful, hands-on research experiences.
Why Your Support Matters
Your support allows students to engage directly with global issues through immersive research experiences.
With your help, we can:
• Provide students with international research opportunities
• Support original data collection and scholarship
• Prepare students for graduate study and careers
• Contribute to a deeper understanding of global conflict and human rights
This work helps develop informed, thoughtful leaders equipped to address complex challenges.
