Make a Gift and Support the Enzo Torcoletti Endowed Scholarship in Fine Arts!
The Enzo Torcoletti Endowed Scholarship in Fine Arts was established to honor the incredible legacy of Professor Enzo V. Torcoletti, a gifted artist and dedicated educator who taught at Flagler College for over 35 years before retiring in 2007. Created by Mr. and Mrs. John N. Foster, Jr., and Mr. Charles B. Foster, this scholarship provides financial support for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors majoring or minoring in Fine Arts who demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Honoring a Legacy of Artistic Excellence
Born in Italy, Torcoletti studied art before moving to Canada, where he earned degrees in English Literature, Sculpture, and Printmaking. He later completed an M.F.A. in Sculpture at Florida State University and made St. Augustine his home. Over the years, he has exhibited internationally and has been featured in publications such as The Sculpture Reference Book and multiple sculpture textbooks by Arthur Williams. His mastery in stone carving has taken him across Portugal, England, and Italy, where he continues to create inspiring works.
Torcoletti’s impact on Flagler College and the Fine Arts community was recently recognized when he received the 2023 Ambassador of the Arts award from the Florida Council on Arts & Culture. His passion for art and teaching continues to inspire students, colleagues, and collectors worldwide.
