Each spring the communication department and the college’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) sponsor and host the department-focused event, featuring speakers with a variety of backgrounds and experience in all areas of communication. The speakers span the fields of journalism, media studies, and strategic communication in order to give all Communication students a chance to hear from someone within their field of study.
