About

Formed in 2019, the President’s Leadership Academy has three cohorts ranging between 10 and 15 students. We plan to add 15 new members this spring.

The President’s Leadership Academy looks for students who may present as "traditional" leaders, but we are just as interested in students who might be described as "non-traditional" leaders. PLA is not a program to recognize existing student leaders, but rather a program to identify students who desire to learn and develop leadership skills. Our mission is to build a community of transformational leaders utilizing a holistic approach built upon a dynamic curriculum, shared experiences, powerful mentorships, and meaningful services.

Gifts made to the President's Leadership Academy support student scholarships, faculty stipends, and special programming as part of the academy. Thanks to your support, the Leadership Academy would be able to award more scholarships to students and hold more substantive programing to help students develop their leadership skills, enforcing the importance of this academy to Flagler College.
