What is the FarmHouse Foundation?
The FarmHouse Foundation works diligently to cultivate donor passion and support to advance FarmHouse Fraternity's mission and help members achieve excellence.
The FarmHouse Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public educational foundation, organized in 1965 as a Trust, to support the Fraternity and its high standards of scholarship, character, personal growth, unity and leadership among members of FarmHouse Fraternity. Through our Board of Trustees and staff, approach this mission in a variety of ways, and we invite you to explore the Foundation pages to learn about giving opportunities, events, educational grants we award and why giving to FarmHouse matters.
What is the Day of Giving?
FarmHouse will kick off our 8th Annual FH Day of Giving at 9:15 a.m. CT Friday, April 14 and end at 5 p.m. CT Saturday, April 15, on Founders' Day! Our goal is to have 1,180-plus donors give over $300,000 to the FH Excellence Fund. The Time is Now!
This special fundraising event is for 1905 minutes (31 hours and 45 minutes) and is an effort to inspire FarmHouse members and friends to invest in current and future educational and leadership initiatives of the FarmHouse Foundation.
Every year on Founders' Day, we are reminded of the trials the 7 Founders faced when they started FarmHouse in 1905 as well as the importance of FarmHouse's values, the need for fellowship and the joy in providing service to others.
Your gift today will ensure the positive FarmHouse experience continues on for the next 118 years.

Impressively, more than 600 FH students (over 41% of undergraduates) are donors to the FH Day of Giving too! This list of chapters has given or pledged to join the 2023 Ruby Society with 100% participation, our exclusive undergraduate giving society, to benefit the FH Excellence Fund. Thank you to these students for investing in their FarmHouse brothers across North America
The 1990 Pledge Class of the Iowa State FH Chapter has collectively made a gift of $1,990 in honor of incoming Fraternity CEO, Dave Hansen (IA 90), to congratulate and welcome him on his first day in this important role for FarmHouse!
Donors include: Mike Baker (IA 90), Tim Becker (IA 90), Chuck Paulsen (IA 90), Bill Quick (IA 90), Kurt Rosentrater (IA 90), Mark Schmidt (IA 90) Steve Schmidt (IA 90) and Russ Wyse (IA 90), along with "honorary pledge class members" Ryan Carey (IA 94) and Bryce Freeman (IA 93).
