Gifts to AIMSS contribute to...
Since 2015, the AIMSS (Autism Individualized Mentoring and Support Services) Program has been supporting students with Autism on campus and helping them to be successful! We offer professional support planning, mentorship, peer mentorship, classes, facilitated communication, social opportunities, dedicated workspaces, and even a sensory room! We customize our support services to fit the unique needs of every learner. The AIMSS program is growing quickly and with funding cuts at the federal level, we need your help now more than ever!
We know that AIMSS students can be successful with the proper support in place. The AIMSS program has a proven record of successfully supporting students until graduation. However, we know that life does not stop there! More than anything, students need to feel confident that their educational experiences will lead to meaningful employment. That's why we are developing transitional programming that will place and support students in internships, connect them with employers, help them build a professional network before they graduate, and build their resumes through supported research, experiential learning, and service learning opportunities. Please reach out to learn more, give as you are able, and share our message to help raise awareness of all the support resources available to neurodiverse students!
