Student Government Association

Student Government is tasked with regulating matters pertaining to student life and making Fairmont State University a great place to learn, work, and call home. We achieve this mandate by hosting several events throughout the academic year to give students the opportunity to connect and have fun. Our members serve on several University committees where student input is heard and makes an impact on campus life. We are involved in a varying level of community service activities and other smaller events that support campus and community life. Student Government is a place where different backgrounds can collaborate to make a difference, and students can grow their leadership capabilities and craft their professional development. It is paramount that Student Government remains the place to enact change on campus and promote democratic principles to ensure our campus and country thrive.
