With your support, our students can manufacture their next competition-ready buggy and continue growing as leaders and problem-solvers. Your generosity fuels opportunity - and keeps our team racing ahead. SAE is important because it brings classroom experience to actual application. Our initiative is to give actual experience to students seeking a degree in mechanical engineering. However, we welcome all majors to come and learn about design and fabrication of a full scale automotive project. This project helps prepare students in engineering for actual projects in their fields and allows for real engineering experience. Another goal of our club is career readiness and internship preparation by providing them with experience they can call on to support them.
