Gifts to Education Resource Center contribute to...
The Science & Technology Education Resource Center is now proudly housed at Fairmont State University, and we’re excited about this new chapter as we continue our mission to open the doors of STEM exploration for students and teachers across West Virginia.
Our program equips teachers and classrooms statewide with more than 60 hands-on Loan and Learn Kits, including portable planetariums, telescopes, robotics equipment, 3D printers, and more. These resources bring real-world STEM experiences to young learners in nearly every county in West Virginia.
Each year, hundreds of students come to Fairmont State’s campus and partner sites for ERC-led workshops and camps where they build and program robots, design and launch rockets, pilot drones, and discover the excitement of STEM. The ERC team also supports dozens of robotics and drone tournaments statewide and proudly hosts multiple state championships and the Northeast Regional Aerial Drone Competition.
On February 26, 2026, your Day of Giving contribution will help our program expand its reach, strengthen its offerings, and continue inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.
