The Criminal Justice Program at Fairmont State is committed to supporting students who face unexpected financial hardships that threaten their ability to stay enrolled and succeed. Many of our students work multiple jobs, support families, and struggle to afford essential resources like textbooks. These challenges can create barriers that impact academic performance and graduation timelines.
Through this initiative, we will establish a Hardship Scholarship to provide emergency assistance for students in crisis and create a Book Fund to purchase required course materials, reducing out-of-pocket costs. By alleviating these financial burdens, we empower students to focus on their education and achieve their goals. Your support will make a direct and meaningful difference in their lives.
