ServeUp Team Trip To New Orleans

Our ServeUp team is preparing to travel to New Orleans, LA to serve communities in need. Why New Orleans 20 years after Hurricane Katrina? The Lower Ninth Ward, one of the hardest-hit areas in 2005, is still in recovery. The natural environment is now at a point where we can start replanting native species and restoring local ecosystems, alongside rebuilding homes.

We will partner with local organizations like Lower9.org, SBP, and Common Ground Relief to support families, revitalize the community, and take part in environmental justice work. Together, we’ll explore how service, faith, and justice intersect, and integrate these principles into our own lives.
