myLIFE at Emory helps autistic adults build skills for independence, make lasting friendships, and grow into the life they want—through engaging group experiences that blend support, fun, and learning. We focus on helping each member feel confident, connected, and part of a welcoming community.
We are fundraising to help autistic adults access life‑changing program opportunities through scholarships and to support myLIFE members and their neurotypical Emory Volunteer Peer Mentors as they build essential skills, confidence, and meaningful community relationships across the Emory campus. Contributions also make possible naturalistic training experiences that teach Emory students to value diverse strengths, cultivate patience, and engage in authentic, inclusive interactions that transform lives on both sides.
Through our work with Emory students and campus partners, we strive to build neuroaffirming communities that celebrate and support neurodiversity. As volunteer peer mentors, students bring the skills and values they learn back to their friends, academic programs, and everyday interactions across campus—helping Emory become an increasingly welcoming and affirming community for all.
