Shine Through: The Emerson Face Covering Campaign

Our faces may be covered, but the Emerson spirit shines through.

Last spring, Boylston Street shut down and quarantines began all across the world. We all saw our lives turned upside-down, yet even in the midst of all of that, Emerson students continued to inspire, create, and innovate, proving that while our faces may be covered, the Emerson spirit always shines through.

For some of our students, the economic crisis will force them to interrupt or completely end their Emerson education. Some depended on financial aid dollars long before the pandemic hit and have only seen their situation worsen. Others are facing new and urgent need due to sudden loss of jobs and access to resources. These students need access to unrestricted financial aid dollars. Dollars that will keep them on course, unburden their families, and allow them to continue pursuing the dreams they’ve worked so hard for.

The One Emerson Scholarship Fund is a source of unrestricted, need-based aid that can be deployed immediately to help students and their families. Your gift to this fund will have an immediate impact on the life of a student facing economic hardship due to COVID-19. The Fine Print: Face coverings are limited to one per donor. Gift must be made between October 19 and October 23.

Face Coverings: One size fits most; triple layer, 3-ply cotton; washable/reusable; adjustable ear loops; flexible nose clip; pocket for optional, additional filter; designed in Atlanta, GA; manufactured in China. These masks are not intended for use in surgical or clinical settings where significant exposure to bodily or other hazardous fluids may be expected or where the infection risk level through inhalation exposure is high. This mask will not prevent you from contracting COVID-19. These masks are made in accordance with the current CDC guidelines.
