Gifts to Scholarships & Financial Aid contribute to...
Scholarships Change Lives
A top priority for us is to provide potential and current students with the financial aid they need to begin and continue their education at Emerson.
On Giving Day, a gift to either an unrestricted or endowed scholarship fund will provide students with access to financial aid dollars–dollars that will open doors and allow them to continue pursuing the dreams they’ve worked so hard to achieve.

Emerson Scholarship Fund
As an unrestricted fund, a gift to the Emerson Scholarship Fund will provide students with access to financial aid dollars–dollars that will open doors and allow them to continue pursuing their dreams.
Mary Burrill Scholarship
In 1904, Mary P. Burrill broke barriers and made Emerson history by being the first woman of color to graduate from the College. In 2002, the Mary Burrill Scholarship was established to support first-year economically disadvantaged students, in order to continue Burrill’s legacy.
Justin P. and Jon Derek Croteau Kasteel Well Scholarship in honor of Dulcia Meijers
The Justin P. and Jon Derek Croteau Kasteel Well Scholarship Fund in honor of Dulcia Meijers ensures that the next generation of Emersonians have the chance to be awed and enriched, not only by their education at The Castle, but also by the power of experiences that expand one's mind and spirt, through the magic of travel.
Norman Lear Scholarship
Established by Norman Lear himself in 2018, the scholarship allows the school to admit exceptionally motivated and gifted students from first-generation, underrepresented and underserved backgrounds who have an interest in pursuing a career in writing for theatre, television, or film, or in the field of writing itself.
