Jonathan Campos passed away in a tragic aircraft accident near Washington, D.C. on Jan. 29, 2025. To honor his career, and the thousands of souls he transported, the Jonathan Campos Aviation Safety Fellowship has been created. While it does little to lessen the loss of a beloved Eagle, friend and pilot, we hope to honor his legacy by continuing to promote research in aviation safety so that others can continue to fly safely every day.
Gifts made to the Campos Aviation Safety Fellowship will sponsor graduate students conducting aviation safety research — which may include accident prevention, safety management systems, human factors in aviation and/or emerging technologies related to aviation safety – to advance the safety of all who fly.
